Download Skeleton Key
Skeleton Key is free to download and try. Here you can download Skeleton Key software, keyboards, and words files. Available separately is the latest version. Remember to join the free Skeleton Key Updates mailing list to know when new software updates are available.
Download Skeleton Key in two steps. First, download and run the full software package, sk150.exe, which includes all support files and an old version of Skeleton Key. Next, download and run the latest version.

System Requirements
- Windows Vista, XP, 2000, Me, 98, or NT 4 (SP 6a).
- Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher. (NT 4 requires Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher.)
- At least a Pentium II at 350MHz (or equivalent) with 64MB RAM is recommended.

Keyboard Language Layouts
To familiarize yourself with a new keyboard, review it in Skeleton Key Editor before using it. Please see "Language Layouts" in the Keyboards section of Skeleton Key Help for more information about these keyboards and preparing Skeleton Key and Windows to use them. It is very important that while you view or edit a language keyboard in Skeleton Key Editor, Windows uses the same keyboard language layout that will be used when Skeleton Key uses the keyboard.

- How do I download?
- First, click the left mouse button on the filename. You should be asked where on your computer to save the file. If you are asked what to do with the file, select "Save this file to disk."
If the left-click fails, try a right-click on the filename. A menu will appear. Select "Save Target As..." (in Internet Explorer) or "Save Link As..." (in Netscape). You will be asked where on your computer to save the file.
